Albany Wildflower Society
The Albany Branch is a small and dedicated group that run a number of activities. A Wildflower Show is organised every September, as are regular excursions and meetings with guest speakers. The Branch plays a large role in coordinating the Albany Herbarium. The group is also passionate about conservation issues in the area.

Esperance Wildflower Festival
This Festival, originally the Esperance Anglican Wildflower Festival, started in 1990, as a display of wildflowers in the Old Anglican Rectory, in conjunction with the annual Church Fete. Devonshire teas and craft sales helped raise money for building a new Parish Centre. This became an annual event in the Rectory, until the new Parish Centre opened in 1996.
Fitzgerald River National Park
Fitzgerald River National Park is one the largest and most botanically significant national parks in Australia. Within the park are found nearly 20 per cent of Western Australia’s flora species, many of which occur only within its boundaries.
